What is a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)?
A Certified Hand Therapist is an occupational therapist or physical therapist who has a minimum of five years of clinical experience, including 4,000 hours of direct practice in hand therapy, and has passed a comprehensive national examination administered by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC). CHT is the highest credential in hand therapy.
